We got a bunch of rain this weekend that I was not ready for. As a result I was rushing to get things done when I realized JD should have a sensor that tells me when I am too close to something. Due to THIER bad design I now have a big crease in the metal frame of my barn door. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I cant blame it on the dog or my wife and I KNOW its not my fault so I am going to blame JD. Other than that one design flaw its a great CUT.

That, sir, is a feature. The door is automatically marked so you know where you will hit it in the future.

<font color="green">Think of it like that first ding get in a new car after it has been in tight space in a parking lot.

The next time you hit the door frame you won't give it much thought just like subsequent dings on your car.

Bingo! I will just tell people after that quick storm I wanted to make sure it would hold up to a stronger storm so I just gave a little nudge to be sure. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As always I can rely on my fellow TBN'rs to help out!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I HAVE NEVER PERSONALLY DONE ANYTHING WRONG and I am sticking with that story.

Now if you want to ask me about the idiot brother in law, or those stupid good for nothing kids down the block, or the son-of-a . . . neighbor, well I can tell you all stories about how when THEY were trying to help me out around the house THEY did something stupid that I would NEVER be caught doing and THEY damaged the . . .

The lovely Mrs_Bob thinks I'm a genius, knows I am safe, and believes I am the best man for ANY job! (or so I think, and I'm sticking with that too).

Lucky you... my Wife has caught me on more than one occasion with a wheel up in the air from an off-balance load, or my favorite, walking in the house bloodied from a branch whacking me in the face that was caught on the ROPS... turned around to back up and crack! Broken glasses and a bloody nose didn't seem to impress her, or convince her of my utter infallability /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Truth be known my wife has seen her share of my "task recoveries". But that does not stop me from trying to get her to see it from my perspective.

Gee Honey....its ok. If you know what you are doing like I do both feet of the ladder dont have to be on a hard flat surface.
Or
No....it's ok. Most of the tools I use dont really need that 3rd pesky prong in the plug.
Or
I did not jack knife their bumper pull horse trailer. I was just showing them how tight a corner it can be backed into.

Like the song says...."That's my story and I'm stickin' to it." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
