Well I am back. I know the world is flat, but by staying away from the edge, I have not fallen off.
Lets start off with a funny.

"I spent most of my money on hunting, fishing, strong drink & wild wicked women.
The rest of if it I just wasted.

Its OK to talk to yourself.
Its even OK to answer yourself.
But when the answer is HUH. (AS in what did you say. You have a problem )

Making $$ fist over hand. A friend about 20 minutes away & the same coming back needed a little job done.
Another 20 minutes. Wanted to do it as a favor, but he insisted on paying. Told him $10. Pretty soon he came back & gave me $20. Tole him I only wanted $10. But insisted I take the whole 20. I figure it costs about $45 to just maintain & fuel the tractor. & that leaves nothing for me.

I am over any grief or morning for Cody & feeling sorry for my self & him. At present I am angry with him, he had so much to live for. Had just gotten his drivers license back, had an insurance Settlement for over $20,000 . Had quit taking some prescription pills, drinking beer & smoking.

When I talked to his grand mother she said it was the best she had seen him in years. More later Maybe. Just about everything reminds me of him.

A few weeks ago I said self, back pain in not going to stop you from doing some things that need to or should be done.
Pretty slow & lots of rests but am progressing. Started doing a little clean up both inside & outside. OK darn little. :D

Good to see you back Mr. Crash. I've got another to add to the funnies:

An old country preacher once told a guy that some people only come to church for three reasons.

To Get "Hatched", "Attached", or "Dispatched".

Lots of things going on.
First snake this year a friendly. Think it was a bull snake, but just caught a glance as it went under the truck. It was gone by the time I walked around the truck.
First illegal I have seen came to the east fence. Bobby ran out kicking up a fuss, Soon Riley & dog joined in. First time I have ever seen them bark & growl at anyone or anything. They did look very serious. Pretty soon Riley & dog went out & was carrying on outside. Gave him some water a beer & a smoke.
Don't know how far, but Riley & Dog followed him. Gone for 2/3 hours.

When I was crying in my beer I ask god to send me a distraction & he did in a big way.
White rust old International carry all with 1 real big guy & 4 female showed up, walking & driving back & while talking real loud. I finely figured out what they were doing, nothing bad actually. But after almost an hour I called the police. Took him about 1/2 hour to show up. Him & the big guy came up to the gate. the cop told me they didn't know it was my land. Said they would never do it again. Big guy turned out to be Bo Gagnen, Pretty soon a little old lady came over. She was Dotty, his mother, I knew her & the rest of the family, but never seen him before. Dotty was some kind of a care giver to John & had a key to the gate. He was a gun collector & had a bunch of rifles & a dower full of pistols. Dotty sold them, I ask her about the $$ & said she sent the $$ to John's sister. Doubt it They are not known for there honesty or integrity.
I know they took an old pull behind grader & it was still at there place long after I moved here.

More Later - Have a good funny for later

Here goes mostly nothing.
Life is great if you don't weaken. Think I have weekended. OH well life goes on.
Another friendly snake, pretty black King snake. Long & skinny.

The $$$ just keep rolling in.
Got a call for a "little" job. Nothing too it. Just tip a trailer frame back onto its wheels. It was pretty much upside down.
Just a small mobile home 14X60. With the wooden (Rotten ) floor still in it. Now this thing weights at the upper limit of my FEL capacity Got it up about 10', looks like it may calasp on my head. those frames are really limber. Got 2 PUs on the far side with chains tied to them & pull a stain on this thing.
Mow just pull 2 RR ties out of the ground so I can come a little straighter. Really don't like being up on two side tires.
Back to the push pull & with just "Small" effort over it crashes. ME done Me thinks, I go home now. Nope It has to be move off this site.
No problem, well maybe a couple. 1 the Tongue is on the ground , get it picked up enough to get it on the ball in my bucket. 2 It needs to go ot a narrow drive & out a narrow gate, No room to pull it, so push is the only way. Now if you want to have some trailer backing up fun this is for you.
Got er done go home now. Had it backed across the main road & clear. Nope now have to get it turned & started down the road.
No problem except for some trees & a fence in the way.
Well now there is a problem RT front tire blows out. I have needed front tires for 2 or 3 years Another slight problem, Its over 2 miles home. Can't leave it there.
Home I go, about 300 yards from home tire comes off, finish trip on bare rim. New tire, mounted just under $200, & only about 50 or 60 miles to go get it.
And the big money rolls in $75 & a 12 pack of bud light.

One fun thing, I have a new tractor buddy. Riley ran a long side of the tractor the first 1/2 mile, I stopped & she put her feet on the floor board Patted my leg & up she came. It's just a little hard to drive with about 60lbs of dog in your lap. She got braver & got behind the seat. Well until she saw a bunny, then the chase was on. came back fairly soon. Ran a long side for a ways then wanted back on. On the job every time I got off the tractor she stayed right at my knee

More later. It's beer 30.

Its nice to have friends.
Dart a friend when learned about Cody offered to buy me a round trip ticket to CA. Didn't have to even pay him back.

Friend Larry, told him about tractor tire & I should put on 2. He says "I'll buy the second tire." You can pay me back by doing some work in November.
It's work I would have done anyway, improve the road into this area.

Am I ever a good shot. Well maybe just lucky.
After the shoot out with the armed robber, I bought a colt Python 357 pistol.
Walking up a sand wash, spotted a hawk sitting on ledge over 200 yards away. Told my friend, I'm going to shoot that hawk
Sat down in the wash put my knees up, drew a careful bead on the hawk. Then kept raising the barrel until only thing I could see was the cylinder.
After pulling the trigger had plenty of time, to watch & wait.
The bullet hit the ledge 2 /3 inches just below the hawks feet.

Need a favor from 1 of you that has a Ford truck with a 3 port master cylinder.
I need the year & model. Think the 3rd port is for a brake light switch. Putting a Ford MC on the old Dodge & would like to have that brake light switch working.
Than You.

Jim I do not have a Ford Master Cyl. But isn't this the same subject you had 2-3 years ago and thought resolved .
Once put Chev. power brakes on a '69 3/4 ton pickup. with out load worked good. Toss a 2x4 in bed of the Truck and there was a loss of braking. Didn't know this until had a lady stop to make a left turn off highway. Cleaned the weeds out of ditch passing her on the right .
After tossing the idea learned there was a load sensor into rear brakes to prevent locking rear before front takes some load.
Beside where you are living who needs brakes . just gear it down from the sounds people learn not to stop in front of you.

Been looking for more of your hermits life style living.

Hi Ken & all,
About 3 years ago most everything pretty much stopped. Now if I can get some pain pills that actually work, I hope to start doing things again.
In almost constant pain, unless laying down.

Ordered the M/C from picture & dimensions, even the box did not say what year or model it fit. After figuring out hard ways to make it work, now have figured out simple & easy way.

Tomorrow 2 new front tires for tractor. Moved up too 10 ply. Old original (10 years ) 6 ply. The 1 that was still holding air was so heavy I had to have help putting it in the PU. In the past I was able too do it myself. Strength is maybe 1/2 what it use to be. Chances are just slide them out of truck, will need help.

Snake season is here, had 2, both were what I call friendly's. But rattlers are around if they are.

Hawk came by a few days ago, sat down about 12' away. As I talked to him/her it turned its head back & forth, like it was really listing to me. After a little while it went & hid waiting for a dove. It or 1 just like showed up at Larry's this AM. Pretty bold, just looks at you then goes back to hunting.

Fall has fell,
Winter came & went
Spring has sprung.
Summer has come &
Its hotter than , Usual.

Come on Ford folks, model & year please.
