I surely don't recommend you treat your Kubota BX23 to a tank full of 5 year old diesel again. Don't completely run the Kerosene out of the entire fuel system. Please put in new diesel ASAP to get that wonderful BX running properly again.

Why didn't you leave it outside?

Is it ok to keep it outside ?
I kept my JD950 outside and it didn't care at all.
It was more rigged than my kubota, I think.

I need another cold day to tell if the fresh fuel is working.
I don't know how old the old diesel fuel was.
I only put it in to move the tractor around and get it to be serviced.
There was too much to fix for me to want to do.

It's ok to keep it outside but smoking out the barn why? Fuel will last years if no water is in it.. But if you keep the tractor inside it will last longer and have less problems and have a better resale value..:2cents:

His BX has over 1300 hours on it, thats pretty good use of it. These can be kept outside but it would be good if you installed a hot plug and used Diesel treatment to keep the fuel from gelling up.
