Backhoe Bad Hydro line............

Pinched a return line for my left stabilizer I am unable to get wrench on connection. It is the third fitting in and there is no room to move!!! Any secret way of loosening these fitting without removing all of them. Kubota cramed alot of lines in a little space!!! Any help/ advice is appreciated!!! Tractor is A BX 24 TLB

Sounds like you need a tubing wrench. Something like a box-end wrench, but has a slot to fit it on the fitting.

A lot of fittings in a tight spot, means pulling some until you can get at the one you want. Usually no room for a tubing wrench. They are only good at not rounding off a fitting and require more room then an open end wrench. Anyone have a secret here ..... Please let us know. :2cents:

The need to remove several hydraulic lines to get to the one damaged is not unusual.

Angle wrenches come in very handy for tight spots, plus a lot of patience.

+1 on what macinPA says. Pretty common to have to remove a few lines to get to the one you need.

I had a really hard time getting a line off from the hydro distribution block on the BH. I made a tool by cutting a slit in a deep well socket with a cutoff disk. If you look up an oxygen sensor socket, that痴 the tool that gave me the idea. Once I made the tool I was able to get the socket on the line with just enough turn to loosen the connection and reinstall the new line.
