ballast box

have new b8160 bota ballast box. was looking at what to fill it with. seems like the object is heavy and cheap. i went to an automotive machine shop and dug thru their scrap. seems to be an abundance of busted 350 chevy heads free to good home. they're about 18" long and are a good fit. i put 5 in and filled the end space with brake rotors from the same pile. i then poured 3 bags of concrete over the top. i left the top 4" or so open as a shelf to carry chainsaw or misc. i also have 4 suitcase weights that fit on this shelf if i need a little more weight. 10 bucks total expense.

holzster, trying to post pic ( my first time here) and it says file is too large. i retook at lowest image quality and it still won't accept. any suggustions? pm me if you want and i'll try it there.........

Pictures need to be under 100k to be posted as a attachment. Here is a thread with some software suggestions on sizing photos. Click Here

If you are using XP and don't have re-size software.. here's a quick trick.

Right click on the pic and select to send it to an email client. XP automatically asks you if you want to resize it for the web.. tell it yes.. this usually yeilds a pic less than 100k and it will be setting inthe attachment area of an email message that pops up. Now.. right click on that pic, and drag it over to your desktop.. copy it there.. now.. close the email message.. you now have a small copy of your pic ready to be uploaded..
