Is there a notch in the wiring cover plate you can run the green through, then snug it under one of the plate-attaching screws? That would work.

You'll enjoy that stand and it looks excellent.

I usually fabricate a piece of fiberglass A/C filter on the air inlet end of the motor to prevent my wood working motors looking like this one. It looks as if I was a little late this time but later is better than never if it still runs.:D

They still need taken apart on occasion to be cleaned but not nearly as often.

Thank goodness for TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) motors.

Yeah. At work (food plant) we have wash down motors that can be hosed off while running and still survive. Unfortunately, this motor I have is not one of them. I may look for an opportunity to take it apart and clean it. Then I may take the advice to install some kind of makeshift filter.
