I can't speak for the BX2200 and JD4100 size tractors but if you go back to past threads about subjective vs. objective superiority of the B and L sizes compared to similar JD tractors they all seem pretty comparable. If you look at the thread Richard was referring to about problems with your tractor you see that all 3 colored tractors have things that go wrong. This issue about arrogant dealers was one of several selling points for why I bought a Kubota. I always figured I'd be back at the dealer for something or other now and then and I couldn't see going to the arrogant JD dealer or the NH dealer who I thought was an ass. I'd probably be just as happy with a 4300 or 4400 but didn't want to go 40 miles to the closest decent JD dealer to get one. Plus the Kubota was a lot cheaper.
