batt. drains on gx345

I have a ? 2005 gx 345 battery goes dead, the fuel mod. keeps drawing
power from battery when not running. replaced time delay mod. , it did not help. could it be ignition module?

From my experience, that is past due for a new battery.
May not be the problem, but try to disconnect the battery after charging it to see if it will hold a charge (nothing connected to draw).

beenthere the batt. is new, with neg. cable off the batt. when i touch neg.
batt. post you can here fuel module click. if i leave batt. connected the
fuel mod. gets warm and drains the batt.

Looking at the electrical diagram it looks as if the ignition switch/circuit board is all one. Sure seems like that could be the problem. Trouble is if it isn't it looks like you're out 100 bucks. It sure would be nice to have the option to try it and if it doesn't solve it, then put it back on the shelf. I'm sure the dealers go that route at times...

what did you end up doing to fix it? I am having the same problem. I replaced the ignition board and switch. Problem still exists.

Check for loose ground wires. There are several. Also, a wire rubbing can drain the battery. If you have a DC amp meter you can connect it and measure the drain then start pulling fuses to narrow down the problem area.
