So put some crappy old Chinese Thermoplastic Extension Cords across the batteries. No more foolish than Rolling Coal the old way.

Unfortunately, that front end looks like it was designed by Massey Ferguson.
It looks like a robot from some sci-fi movie, but I can't remember which one. Starting at $69,000 though, I doubt that I will be buying one right off.

I bet it will be sharp looking by production time. I guess Ford was impressed to invest 1/2 billion dollars in Rivian. I think they want to use their battery technology.

Wonder how loud or quiet that electric pickup actually is, missed that part in the video. Nothing worse then an annoying hum on a 400 mile drive when 800 miles is the destination, coarse some posters can be that way to, not that I know any. And then the wait on how long to recharge, recharge the battery's how many times before replacing, more then ten I hope and then I'm sure a lighting storm wont bother the batteries.... Yes I'm skeletal of battery to be the end all do all solution to world peace, now when we get to dilithium crystals wake me up then we can all live happily ever after, live long and prosper I say......

As with my E-Gator, I'm guessing there is no appreciable HUM. Tire noise is the biggest noise on the gator and it shouldn't be underestimated. On a high speed vehicle, I am guessing wind is your biggest source of noise. You know they put a swirl in your FM antenna just to cut down noise.

This is good news. Locally the Ford dealership has 2 free to the public J1772 chargers. I ran the Leaf down to 7 miles remaining this afternoon and plugged in about 5 PM and came home to take care of the dogs and horses while the wife is at work. Now I have to go back and drop off what she was driving so she has a way home after her shift and I will get the Leaf back home. I checked on it after on the charger for about 90 minutes earlier and it had recovered 35 miles of range which would take about 7 hours with my 120 volt Leaf supplied.
