If you would believe that you would believe anything they tell you at the sources you rely on. Care to name them?
Look it up yourself . You would not believe me if I told you the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

Americans willing to give autonomous taxis a go | Autoblog

A long term declining number of new car sales could be a game changer dealership based sales. While Robo Taxis are not a new comcept I think Elon Musk is serious about helping it to become a reality.
I'm a little baffled as to how the technology will eventually handle a fully self-driving car, with no human backup behind the wheel. Mercedes and Cadillac currently have features similar to Tesla's Autopilot, there may be more. They all consist of adaptive cruise control and an attempt to keep the car in it's lane by using cameras to watch for the lane markers.

Just the comparatively simple process of keeping the car in the current lane is nowhere close to perfect. The dash displays indicators to show whether the car can currently see the lane markers, and they quite frequently go out. Rural roads are not marked well. Highways have construction zones with messed up lane markers. It is nice as a convenience function, but I'm not seeing how it will make the leap to be able to stake your life on it working correctly.

The news media dropped coverage of the fires after hundreds of left wing liberal environmentalists were caught committing arson in order to prove climate change .

If you would believe that you would believe anything they tell you at the sources you rely on. Care to name them?

You're asking me to find something that doesn't exist.

You made the claim. Again, what source did you rely on? Your turn.

At least the 24 that were caught plus all the others that escaped arrest. You going to tell us that arson does not occur ? Arson has been a particular problem in California and western canada wildfires in particular . Of course all the liberal " fact checker" site are out in force covering for the environmental nazis who have been committing arson to prove climate change . Some refining process of steel use electric arc . If you knew how iron and steel is refined . You would understand that coke , lime and iron ore are required .

Yes but new Tech can replace some of the process by utilizing hydrogen HYBRIT (Hydrogen Breakthrough Ironmaking Technology)

First in fossil-free steel - SSAB

The new plan is to have a HYBRIT demonstration plant in place in 2025, at the same time as the conversion of SSAB blast furnace site in in Sweden, which will enable SSAB to produce iron ore-based, fossil-free steel for commercial use in 2026.

Doesn't sound like it will be cost competitive for some time though.

Ok there's some variance between your 'hundreds of environmentalists were caught' and your '24 were caught' In the article you offered as proof for your 'hundreds'.

Here in Northern California I've never heard of arson as a political statement. Arson arrests seem to be folks who want to work the fire lines so they go out and start something, or in a few cases might be revenge or are just plain crazy. (And accidental fires plus natural causes - lightning etc - far outnumber intentional arson). Anybody with good sense environmentalist or not recognizes the lack of minor fires for a century here has led to what is now explosive growth of any fire that gets started, so wouldn't intentionally start one. Again what source do you cite as your basis for 'hundreds were caught'?

Hundreds caught . Only 24 charged with a chance of conviction.
One fire due to arson is too many. You can dismiss 24 caught red handed as minor ?

One thing I've learned is that you can't fight the future. Home phones give way to cell phones. Flip phones give way to smart phones. EV cars begin to be on par with ICE cars. Batteries get more energy density (range) and lighter and cheaper.

I anticipate that as more EV's come online gasoline demand will go down and thus gas will become cheaper in the future. At some point it should just be about personal preference about which one to buy, ICE vs EV. Younger people will choose EV's, older folks will stick with what they know.

Youth today don't see driving the way the previous generations did. Many choose not to get their license as early as they can, some even delay for a year or two.

You can now buy GM's Bolt all EV for under 26K with a 259 mile range BTW.

Your article doesn't say any of the 24 was an environmentalist. The 183 (your 'hundreds') was total police contacts, such as people caught and admonished for going past the fire lines. None of those were identified as environmentalists either. More likely landowners refusing to evacuate or sneaking back in, out of concern for their structures and animals.

Rather
research from the Queensland University of Technology suggests bots and trolls are involved in spreading disinformation about arson on Twitter.
Me, I'll choose to believe research, vs Twitter.

Believe what you want.
