Great point buckeyefarmer. It looks like China is the steel maker for the world so they must be dealing the most from the downside of processing coal for coke.

I expect 100 years from now we will be mining some coal and pumping some crude to make gas and diesel. I am not sure we can ever fight a ground war without fossil fuel usage.

Elon Musk has no plans for fossil fuel usage on Mars I expect but it can help him get to Mars.

Even check into the hundreds of diesel gen sets that Australia bought to replace coal generation to backup wind and solar. Don't give me any BS either about Tesla batteries being the answer either . Too much $$$, too little capacity and they require power to charge.
