Adding a disconnect switch between the ground cable on the battery and the frame ground post. I have several lawn and garden tractors and have installed one on each one. It lessens the chance of a fire due to rodents chewing on the wires and also battery drain do to an unknown parisitic draw. The Harbour Freight ones are perfect for small equipment but I dont know if they will handle a high current draw from a large piece of equipment. It sure gives me piece of mind knowing the electrical system is dead.
