Battery issue with L111?

Does anyone know what the proper size of battery is for an L111? I have had issues with starting season after season.. seems the battery I have been using isn't powerful enough to turn the engine over., and I am left to jump start the tractor each time I want to use it...

one issue after another with this unit., even though I bought it from a JD dealership (which is now conveniently out of business!)

Any similar issues? advice to resolve this?

Exide lists their GT-H or GT-X batteries with 235 CCA for your L111.

Something else to check is the valve clearances on your Briggs engine. Too much lash on the exhaust valves can cause the compression release to malfunction resulting in difficulity starting.
