Battery Tenders

A good battery/electrical system dosnt need to be on a tender for months at a time. I have quads that havr been sitting for months over the winter. They start fine.

Have to disagree when it gets below -0 here in Michigan you need a battery tender.Unless to like buying new batteries every 2-3 years.Have the CTEK model tender on my 2018 challenger over the winter in my insulated barn.

I have a two Deltran, and one CTeK. On the pickup, motorcycle & tractor. All are on all the time. Never once had any type of problem. They do a great job of keeping the batteries fully charged. At thirteen years on my previous tractor - had the battery checked at Les Schwab. Still in great shape. I had a Deltran on that battery from the day I bought it - 24/7/365.

Buy a quality battery tender - use it correctrely - very little chance of any problems. All three run at around 1.25 V.

Same here!
If I am planning to not use a vehicle, or machine, for more than 2 weeks, I keep a battery tender on.

Lol 2 weeks.

I hope you guys know that these tenders can do damage and even boil off water in batterys. Theres no need for a battery tender for a few months in the off season and def not 2 weeks.

NOT if you buy a good brand one!

I've only seen one do that, it was a HF brand...

I leave 'em on everything, and have done so for many years.
