Tractor
kubota b6000
Hi all,
Im Beard, I live in the UK,North of England and am the owner of a Kubota B6000, which is approximately 40years old.
The tractor has served me well, for a number of years, and apart from
the usuual service parts, oil . battery and tyres, ive no complaints,up until the
winter 2010/2011, which was as you know was a bit harsh, However the problem i have is as follow, (and no lectures please about anti freeze ) ..

I filled up with water, and noticed it was pouring from the rear o the engine, On removing the fuel tank, and rear heat shield, i found a hole, in
the cylinder head about the size of a 2pence piece, not threaded,
I searched around, and found a disc shaped piece of metal, which judging by the colout,Blue, had come from the hole, in the cylinder head. I beleive it is called a "FREEZE CORE PLUG "..

What i would like to know is...1 is it replaceable, 2 should i use a new one,(if obtainable) either way any ideas on fitting it, I thought about
heating it, somehow, then letting it cool of and expand in situ.. Help..

THANKS
