Today I was really thinking about Yanmars that I wanted to draw so i picked out two that i really liked off the web and drew em'. The first is a YM1610D which I actually started last night but didn't do much so i basically did it all this morning. The second one is a YM2000, I really like that hood style and it turned out very nicely on paper. Do i plan to do more? Yes, in fact i want to draw either a YM1100 or a YM155D so I guess I will stay busy. Although I am open to any suggestions too, i still want to draw up a YM1500 or something similar, that would be neat. :) Enjoy!

Those are great, you have a lot of talent and an eye for detail. Nice work.

Wow, nice drawing! I cant come close to that. One im impatient so i rush but even when i was your age, (was not interested) or younger if i tried all that came out was junk. A girt for sure!

Not saying dont but a 1500 and 2000 in on paper will look exactly the same. There a different frame size and have different tire sizes but i think everything is inproportion. Except for the stickers i dont think they will look any different in your drawings. Just thought id point that out, you may already know that though.

Good work! :dance1:

You might try drawing a YM1700. I think it's a little different than the ones you have drawn, especially the side engine panels.

Yours i think are the same as the 240 or 2000.

That loader on neat's 1500 is a bulldog or V2. Its what they put on the recons and you can buy one at any recon dealer i think for like $1800

I worked as an illustrator at Ford Tractor back in 1963 when the 8000 was in production. This was in Hamtramak Mi. in one of the original Ford car plants.
I never had your talent, keep up the good work!
I guess I got hooked on tractors there and now have a Yanmar 187d and a Case 580ck backhoe/loader.

Thanks guys! I have had a lot of work going for those tires, i liked the YM2000 because it had rib tires on the front.:p I am hopefully gonna get another drawing going pretty soon, been fixing my Yanmar for the past 3 days now but I still like sitting down in the morning or evening and drawing up an ole' Yanmar. People always draw common brand machines, i like the ones that you will never see on paper.

I recently completed Yanmar #3. This one is a 155 with a MMM on it. It came out pretty good. :)
