Very nice Fred... now you need to build a tractor barn so you can park it out of the show.

I just got a Woods BH70-X backhoe for my 790. I'll post some pictures of in the forum.

Perhaps you could answer something else for me. In a separate thread someone said the 3005 has a beefed up, stronger front axle than the 790. Is this true? I can not find any internet photos of the 3005 front axle to compare to the 790.

Glad you found out about "U" yes manual says any type of storage you should clamp clutch depressed all the way.

As for the front axel....I had not heard that, mind you I am so green in the tractor world, hey it`s a good thing I got a Deere, eh

If its something that you would like to know I could snap a shot for you. I will!

Great idea about cover. Actually the picture looks like the whole driver area is filled with snow, but really its the snow bank on other side of tractor, optical illusion I think.

I knew about the U clamp, but when I bought my tractor I couldn't find it anywhere. Finally was checking the water in the battery and it was "stored" behind the battery! Now I keep it in the toolbox.

You are a lucky man. The 790 and now 3005 is probably the most efficent and least problematic gear tractor around. I have a 790 with loader & backhoe and, if I could not replace it, would never sell. You will be amazed at how much power is packed in it and how well you can wiggle into tight spaces. I can't recall ever seeing a bad word written on them.

The dog sure looks comfortable. Glad to see it next to the stove. If a female and you one day desire pups, sell them before the wife gets attached to them.
