Rotary Cutter Bend rock jumper?

One of the guys hit a rock a few days ago and snapped the output shaft of our 60" woods mower. It looks like the rock jumper disc is also pretty banged up.

Anyone know what the blades alignment should look like?

I have attached a picture showing a 2x4 clamped to one blade. The cutting edge is not parallel to the surface of the disc. Should it be?

If I push the end of the board down to make it parallel to the disc, the other blade is still not looking good.

Yeah the blades should be parallel to the stump-jumper surface. They
are not expensive at all (AgriSupply), if they are severely bent. If
your stump-jumper is too distorted, you may want to replace that, too.

I just had this 5-footer delivered here from TractorSupply the other day.
This is forklift damage, requiring a new stump-jumper. The TSC folks
caught a tine between the carcass and the jumper and bent it down. I
lift these units with a boom, from the top.

Thanks - I'll try some sledge hammer work and see if I can flatten the stump-jumper enough.

Tried digging out the rock. I'm down 3 feet and the rock is still getting bigger. I think it might be a good place to pound a fence post into the ground and drive around it.

We've got some "rocks" like that around here....They barely show above ground, but they can be under 1/3 of the county and 200' thick.! Mostly limestone. They're what gives this area a naturally "sweet" ph level that makes the grass appear "blue" in certain conditions....Hence, the Bluegrass State.

You might want to check on the price of the stump jumper. I replaced one on a Woods MD172 (model prior to the BB720) That was 7 years ago, but the stumpjumper was less than $150.

I never bought one before, and I can not get a quotation off the
BehlenCountry.com (CountyLine) website. I know Woods is expensive....
it's a total guess that I could get one for under $100, shipped or picked up.
