In the 3rd picture, to the left of the red dot in the hole of the level, and just below that, I'd smack that somegun with a sledgehammer a few times and all would be well. No heat needed.

Yes, i agree, i'd give that a little work with the sledge, should straighten enough for PT work. To coin a phrase.

THere is a second bend but I do agree this is completely fixable. My time, however was more precious.

That said, the attach is very worn. and it has 2 additional bends (the tips are bent) and there is a secondary bend favoring the top right of hte plate.

But yeah, time, torch, hammer and some patience would have saved me the $200.
