What is a do-all? Is that what would be called a spike harrow?

There are different configurations, but this is like mine and has the rolling baskets on the front and then what amounts to a drag harrow on the back. The rolling baskets are what make it work so well for breaking clods and then the harrow smooths it out.

If you don't have a big enough tractor to pull it, you can remove the wings.

My little drag works great?!
I spent 40minutes out there and NO DAMAGE?! That is a first. I usually have to strengthen something, reweld something.

With no weight on it, it scratched well.
Strapped a couple logs on it and even better.

Little tractor pulled it AOK....it didn't bind in the corners like the lengths of angle iron did.

Only the front two tines (there are 11) bent back a bit . Maybe 25degree bend to them.

Surprised and proud of myself for finally getting it right. Was tempted to quit on it and buy something. But good to have gotten it done myself after the 7th revision.

Congratulations on your success. It always feels good to cobble something together that actually works for its intended purpose.

My dad kept a scrap metal pile out behind the barn. Anytime something needed to be fixed or modified or created, we would go dig through the pile and drag what we needed to the shop and fire up the welder and cutting torch.

Just got in from spinning laps on my dirtbike. It is my afterwork exersize. (way more fun than jogging).

Track is awesome. All loose soil in the corners. The acceleration and breaking bumps on the straights are tamed down, filled in.
Had to have a kid walk it and throw all the rocks on the track into the weeds. Amazing what that drag did in regard to poping out rocks and snapping roots.
There were at least 30 fist size rocks on the surface when I was done.

Used the little machine this weekend to drag some huge logs from a fall down. So, that was fun.
Track is awesome...little rain will be good.

Spike harrow. A drag harrow would be attached to the drawbar, not mounted to the 3 point hitch.
