I'll be using this box blade infrequently to help grade some uneven areas of my yard and address driveway potholes on our hard-pac driveway. Sounds like the 5.0 could do the job and if I have it right, the 2.1 would a slight upgrade based on durability and weight?

This is Travis, but, on the phone, I get accused daily of being Ted. :laughing:

The 2.1 really adds no extra durability and minimal weight. it's the physical larger volume it will hold/move at a time.
Ironically, these pics of a GC1700 with a 48" 2.1 were just shared today in the EA Channel Facebook Group! He said he's already spread about 12 truckloads of dirt with it!
