Congratulations on your addition. There is nothing more precious than a baby. Our 2 are grown and gone but the memories never fade.
We are starting the second time around, grandbabies. Had a new granddaughter born last Thursday. 10 lb, 1 oz. Grandson is 3 now. We are enjoying them as much as we did our own kids./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Came back to work today after 2 days of vacation and got bad news about 2 co-workers. One's unborn baby was diagnosed with water on the brain. Doubtful she could have lived if born. If she did, she would have been profoundly retarded, blind, and deaf. They made the personal and painful decision of abortion.
Another had twins born last week. At 2 days old, one suffered brain aneurysms and appears will be retarded./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
My co-worker who was telling me about them said he had been upset with his son about not playing his best in a baseball game. This came as a slap in his face. He now looks at things completely differently. At least his son can play ball.
We sometimes forget how thankful we should be. Enjoy your new child as she will bring you great joys and some occasional sadness and worry./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
