Hey Ovrszd,
I'm pretty sure that in the case of the MX5100 being More its actually less or the nearly the same in most performance aspects You would not be the first who assumed the MX was bigger. I'm pretty sure that MX5100 ,
L5240 and the
L5060-
L6060 are nearly the same sized chassis I'm not sure if the Hst they use is shorter providing a shorter overall wheel base which then results in slightly tighter turning radius. I've looked at them at the dealer and they look like the same axles design/ Same motor. Kubota wants you to believe that they are a bigger tractor but its not really with the exception of Rear Wheel tread spacing. They share the same tire size. the Loader Number is one off from the outgoing
L5240's LA854 yet it has more lift capacity than the MX5100. the MX weighs between 125-200 lbs less than the L Series
In this i Found that Kubota has lowered loader capacity on the new L series so now they can be even lower than the kiotio's than they already where.
The biggest difference is the 670 lbs the MX gives up in 3pt capacity over the L series
The MX in my opinion should really be called the L5100 its just a de-contented
L5240/
L5060 (-Minus HST+ and some of the other luxury features.) that more closely competes with the some of the cheaper offerings from other OEMS.
That said the MX5100 is really a good value but it does not fill the void in the M series lineup they created when they stopped the
M5140 by not offering at M5160. Why not call it what it is a L5100
Still Shaking my head about the LA1055 Loader Specs not sure what Kubota was thinking:thumbdown:
