best implement for pipe laying?

New tractor owner. I have a 20HP tractor. Wondering if there is a good 3pt implement to trench for laying sprinkler pipe. Need to go 10"-12" deep on a narrow trench for 1" or smaller PVC. Need to leave loose soil on top not in trench. Soil here is sandy, no rocks, but a few patches of harder clay (which would be busted up anyway before i put in sprinklers). . Closest i have seen commonly called middlebusters and subsoilers. But nobody seems to advertise an implement specifically for laying pipe. There must be a problem with this idea since Ditchwitch is common. Any comments?

Subsoiler usually works if you're only going 10-12"

If you use the flexible "pipe" you can feed it through a tube that sets behind the "tooth" on your subsoiler. Figure a way to hang the spool of "pipe" on your ROPS. so it rolls right off. Leave enough stick out on either end to attach to. The hardest part of the job is hangin' the "pipe" on the ROPS.

There was a guy on here that had used a single shank subsoiler to lay in electrical cable. He had welded a pipe of the appropiate diamenter to the back of the shank that fed the wire to the bottom the shank.

I rolled my pipe out along the route I wanted to lay it. I then clamped a couple of 1X2 pieces of wood to form a "V" at the top of the ROPS then just ran the pipe up over the hood of the tractor, thru the "V" and down to the sub-soiler/pipe layer. There's a thread with pictures of how I did it somewhere in the archives...
