Best Mod/add on to compact tractor or attachment

BEST MOD I EVER DID, WAS GROOVE MY TIRES!
Seriously, the traction more than Doubled, I rarely use 4x4 anymore. Its amazing! :thumbsup:
I suggest this to anyone looking for more traction from a R4.

I had never heard of it before but I'm going to try it now!

Bought a $100 tire grooving tool, and just manually cut them. Its like a hot knife. I cut them all free-hand and they turned out almost perfect in my opinion.
Super simple to do, but takes a little grunt work to push the tool thru. Took about 20 minutes per tire, but I spent a hour before marking them, so they ended up looking uniform.

Best addition have been TnT, and loader.

My first tractor did not have a loader when I got it. The loader really made the "tractor".

Later I added TnT. Wonderful addition!

Not the most complicated mod but probably the best one is adding lights to the top the ROPS. Headlights don't do a thing with a loader on the front. Night and day difference

If you do much land clearing and work with wood/brush, a bucket grapple makes a big difference in how much you load in the bucket and saves a lot of off/on trips to load the bucket with a decent load by hand... Bucket forks in conjunction with this are even better. If I do any hand work i leave a pile. The grapple allows me almost always roll up and pick the entire pile...

Next to that a drawbar plate with welded on hooks to allow me to quickly attach a chain to the drawbar.

Like the tire sipping, I will have to look into that, as a little more traction would always be welcome

In SNOW, the tires have Double the traction. I'm not sure how much better they will be in summer, but I'm sure alot! :thumbsup:
