Nothing cute or funny about cruelty to animals.
X2

Agree with LD1 - we got a declawed cat, great little friend to the entire family - follows everyone around like a dog and always makes everyone (especially kids) laugh and smile.

1. Do you actually even have a clue to the reference, without googling it for context?
2. You have to admit that the idea that someone takes an innocuous thread and uses it as forum to promote their righteousness is a little funny. Well actually its a lot funny.

The reference is SSSSOOOOOO appropriate here. Google it. People just having a conversation and one guys gotta go get all serious and preach his point of view that quite frankly isn't in the context of the conversation.

He doesn't get it.

He does the same thing constantly. He trolls threads trying to start fights instead of simply having a conversation. Yesterday it was the tractor alternative thread, today it's this one. Going personal and name calling/insulting are his specialty. Notice he is the only one doing the insulting here. He is very sensitive about anyone who has a different opinion than he does and immediately wants to argue with them instead of simply allowing them to have a different opinion. It ok for people to have different opinions. Some struggle with this concept which is somewhat ironic coming from someone who has a very strong opinion.

As the old saying goes, it just takes one. I'm sure a psychologist cold make sense of it all. Hopefully the mods will clean it up at some point as the trolling is getting out of hand.

I love the "lighten up francis"

The best way to shut down a PTO chipper is when you are finished with the job! I am not clear as to the real benefits of worrying about what RPM you are at when you disengage the PTO. Regardless of the speed when the PTO is disengaged it will slowly slow down.

Me trolling threads and name calling???

You and adventure Bob......what did either one of you contribute to this thread other than your inappropriate comments about cats that has no place here.

I actually contribute with useful and helpful info.

And no need to mention other threads either. But don't worry, someone probably whined because some of my posts got removed. Even though I have no idea why. So don't worry, I won't contribute in that thread anymore.

I used to feel this way until we got some barn cats to keep the mice in check. I always get a kick when they bring thier kill for me to see. All sorts of stuff from birds to prairie dogs. They stay outside and are always got scrapes and bruises from fighting with each other and hunting. Mice population is almost non existent around the house which also keeps the snakes away. We lose about 2 per year from owls and coyotes. We even had one come home without a tail one day. LOL.

I brother has a worthless inside cat that is declawed. That type of cat I have no use for as it serves no real purpose other than stinking up the house and hacking up furballs.

I was told that when they bring the dead mouse and leave it for you its a gift for you not just to show you the kill.

I was helping a friend with some light duty chipping and using my D.R. belt driven chipper on his 2305 JD (electric PTO). When we finished, he shut down the PTO and immediately "smoked" the drive belt on the chipper, badly enough it had to be replaced. I hate this type of engagement feature
