On 4 -15 - 07 "Taxa-clause Day", I plan to purchase a BH 75 for my L 3400.

Trying to decide on the 12" or 16". (or both ?) Hoe will be used mostly for for rock and stump removal. I have been shopping the Western, Pa. (Pgh - Erie) for quotes. Suggestions for both from all TBN'rs.

Thanks,

The 16" bucket will do fine. Some say to go small for what you are doing but hoe do you get a 15" wide stone out of a 12" hole? The roots from tree's it is best to try and grab as near the center of the bucket as possible but I still like the 16" bucket especially when working in wet soils as they don't hang up as much in the bucket when trying to empty it.

I have a 16" on my BH75 and it digs Penna. clay just fine. I had a 12" on a previous small backhoe and sometimes had to shake it hard to get the clay to unstick. I only had to that a couple of times with the 16"
