I was up at Wengers of Myerstown today. They had an implement that I have only seen in the newspaper before. It is an PTO driven airplane propeller. In the picture in the paper it is used to blow the giant American Flag flown behind a antique tractor in the 4th of July parade. My question is is there any farm use for a PTO driven propeller?

The one in the picture does not look big enough to get my tractor off the ground. Might work on a sub compact.

Forced air can be really handy if you are burning brush piles. Burns good and hot with less smoke when you add air(one reason pellet stoves burn so clean). I have a battery powered electric blower on a pipe that I use to help burn piles. I have also used the airflow out from under my lawn mower deck directed into the fire to aid combustion.
