Your LaRo engine, the 2.5 is a 5 pot or a 4 pot ?

Industrial engines have a different governor, with an rpm corrector which gives more fuel when the rpm drop under load.
A 4 cylinder fuel pump from a tractor would be easy to find when down the road, you find the on-road governor doesnt work in a mower. 5 cylinder pumps with a speed governor is harder to find.
hi its a LR 300tdi which is a 4 pot, foot pedal will be sufficient for now, i dont do a lot of mowing im not a contractor i just have some trails through the woods that i planted that i like to keep clear, maybe an hours work once every 2 weeks through the summer

its all forward direction mowing no tight spots or reversing around trees or i would be looking at rear steer and hydraulic drive, a full size tractor just squeeze's through but all the branches are now hitting the windscreen so something a little less in height would be an advantage

all those pics are a few years old but all i could find, out of interest i will go and stand in the same spots and take some up to date ones ro see what difference a few years makes
