these do eventually take their toll on the equipment, I lost the dipper cylinder after a few more of these and some more 12" stumps

we brought in 90 yards of 5" bank gravel for the turning area and driveway base. It is spread about 16" thick.

here it is roughed in. I didn't take any snaps of it finished and cleaned up because I became preoccupied with taking the cylinders off the BH90 to re-seal. The dipper cylinder that failed was severely side loaded and I will get it apart tomorrow night to see if it can be saved, but that is another subject.
Now we are waiting for the sawmill to finish cutting the package and make the delivery. This will be post and beam using native pine. Should be interesting, I've only ever built with dimensional lumber.
