/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gifYou characters give me lots of laughs. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif And I needed'em today; wasn't one of my better days. I started the day trying out my brand new electric hedge shears. When I came back in the house to get my wallet and car keys, my wife asked, "What's wrong?" "Stupidity," I said. You guessed it; the new shears were nice and sharp; cut that electric cord quite easily. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Now I might expect my 14 year old grandson to do something like that, but with all the years experience I have it was really a stupid mistake. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Went to the store, got a new plug, put it on, plugged it in, and as you might expect, no power (breaker did what it was supposed to do, right?). Went to the breaker panel; no breakers kicked. And you know I was slow enough today that I had to sit down and have a cup of coffee before I remembered that the GFI breakers in this mobile home are different from the ones we had in our house. Just had to go push the reset button at the receptacle in the master bathroom. Of course that was after I had pulled that outside receptacle to have a look at it to see if it was damaged. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Maybe my memory really is going in my old age. And there's been a dead limb about the diameter of my arm on the tree outside the back door; naturally just a little higher than my ladder is long. I figured the way my luck started today, I'd probably break my neck getting up there to cut it down, but I've been afraid it would fall on someone, so I did it and even without any injuries! So I guess the whole day wasn't too bad; did get the hedge trimmed and the lawn mowed, edged, and trimmed.
