Bird Has Passed Away

Long time TBN member and original moderator @Bird Senter has passed away at the age of 84.

For more than two decades, Bird was a cornerstone of TBN. He was a prolific contributor to TBN both as a member and moderator, and an all-around great guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Dallas about ten years ago.

So much of his wisdom and humor was shared on TBN and I'm very grateful that we all were lucky enough to have him here.

Very sad. I remember reading his informative posts back in the early 2000s. He was always polite and a source of good information. RIP Bird

Got to visit Bird several times during our travels in TX. He was the same person that we saw on TBN when meeting in person.

No lie... I was thinking of Bird this morning... over the years he reached out several times and was very interested when I told of my uncle that died in the line if duty as a deputy sheriff.

Bird said to let him know if I was ever out his way...

There are a few other members who haven't been around too. They may have passed and family may not know they were TBN member. I know that will be what happens when I go.

Being an 'old timer' on here I fondly remember conversations with Bird and I wish him peace in his afterlife as well. Besides, he was a 'Kubota' guy. I still have a couple of the TbyNet tee shirts from decades ago. The old days were the good days far as I'm concerned and I'm close to Bird's age so I appreciate how getting older and closer to the final end is...

I never knew what his last name was but then it was never important to me anyway.
