That is something to think about. Good post.I think relocation is potentially worse. Move the problem somewhere else. So now you have an unnatural imbalance in the preserve that causes other unintended consequences. The varmint you move in pushes something else out and it ends up on the land of the guy adjacent to the the preserve. If not that, it creates more prey and coyote populations increase. Sure, maybe you only drop off 1 a year...now multiply that by the number of properties in the county. Pretty soon your 1 is 50 or 100.
Put them down and use the carcass for fertilizer.
Funny story. I was traveling to Flagstaff to see a customer and needed to stop for a potty break. I pulled into an Indian souvenir store that had billboard saying they had clean restrooms. While in there I saw they had some kids size coon skin caps. I bought a couple for my grandkids and told them how I fought two coons and skinned them to make some hats. They looked at me like I was crazy and would not touch them.Maybe get a new hat?
