I have Titan radials on my M9540. I have no complaints at all. I overload the snot out of my front tires and they never complain.

I only have a Kubota L4400 and have put the BKT tr144 8 x16 on the front, now it says they are not tubeless but the place I got them from says they been mounting them as if they were tubeless and haven't had any complaints or issues.. any thoughts??

I cannot speak about BKT tires. My Titans are 12 years old and no cracking or any problems.
When the time comes I will get Titans again.

Update on an old thread.

Yesterday I ruined a front 12/4R24 Titan. Over 1200hrs (can't remember exactly) of very hard FEL work. Had to plug one twice. Lot of chunking of tread. Otherwise they had held up fine.

Want to switch to R-1W. Visited my local tire guy. He's ordering me a pair of BKT Agrimax RT765 360/70R/24 tires. On paper they have a 1.6" wider tread patch and will fit my 11" rims. Approximately 500lbs higher load rating for each. Paid $440 each mounted.

Will pick them up Monday. I'll offer an opinion with pictures as I use them. Right now I'm harvesting large trees that fell during two wind storms this Summer. Spending considerable time with one rear tire off the ground when packing very large oak logs with the Grapple.

P.S. Firestones were $110 apiece higher.

I bought the btk this yr, no probs and they don't stink of coal oil like the chinese tires do,, My friend is a mold technician at a trie maker,, he couldn't find any issues with the build

I have Chinese tires on 3 trailers and they seem to be slicker to the touch than USA tires....I think it is that they use more plasticizers in the molding process which makes them slick, maybe smell, and ****** weather cracking. One set of tires is over 10 years old and still zero cracking, 8 ply, 700x15 Shield brand. Never had a USA tire last that long without developing cracks. I do keep all tires out of the direct rays of the sun.

Speaking of smell's & China, anyone else notice the distinct smell of a HF store?

I bought a pair of BKT R1W 320/85R/24 tires for the front of my M9540. According to data, gained 1.4" width. Doesn't appear that much but they'll stretch out with use. I'll try to get some pics soon.

Am glad this thread got reopened since I was just choosing between BKT and Titan also, but with turf tread not ag.
I put R1 BKT's on my previous small tractor, and they performed very well, and were nicely finished. Not loaded with those little rubber things all over the sidewall as were the
Titans I just put on my new (to me) MF 1230 which after 1100 hours desperately needed front tires. Bridgestone rears still usable but I found the beginnings of sidewall checking after twenty years, so they got switched out also. Carlisle Multitracs on the front, one size larger since the oem size isn't made any more, nicely misses front steering arm by half an inch.

And now that Titan owns Carlisle, Titan makes the Multitrac tread in much larger sizes so it was nice to have the same tread pattern front and rear. The rears are about the most aggressive turf tires I have found. And since I'm pulling a small one row cultivator with this tractor, I need some grip. But not too much on the lawn. My Kubota front R4's are very unkind to the grass with a load in the bucket. So having a turf tire tractor with a big carryall on the back should be a nice addition to the fleet. The MF 2615 has Goodyear R1's on the rear, bias ply, a slight hybrid tire with a nod to a R4 with a blob of rubber in the center. I filled them with fluid to help.

No radials available in my small sizes. Now when the time comes to replace tires on the Kubota, likely its front tires, I would definitely include BKT.
I think they are the biggest or one of the biggest tire companies in India, like our Goodyear. And if radials were available, might spend more on them,
maybe not since I'm retired and not trying to max out farming yields.

The BKT's I bought four or five years ago had their model number embossed in the tread, very sophisticated. Probably lots do this now but they were definitely trying to keep
up with the Joneses.

There is a definite sense of pride to us older guys seeing Made In USA on the side of the Titans.
That made me glad to buy their tire all in itself. The fact they were almost the only game in town in this size also helped.

correction. I just zoomed into the tire, it's Made In The USA
funny they added the The...
