Jump back to post 349 and read from there to end.

Has there been resolution....yes? No? Maybe? Just don't know yet, and won't know for sure for another month.

At least you didn't have to explain the dollar amounts again. :)

LD1, did you also report them to the BBB? Yelp? others?

I didn't file anything with the BBB, because I am letting cc company work it out. Didn't know if a dispute through bbb would complicate that.

But I did leave reviews on Google, BBB, Yelp, and facebook

I was well aware he had some refunded. I was wondering about the shipping cost.
Didn't know they would take this long. I have had several disputes resolved within a few days

If they were a reputable company....it wouldnt (shouldnt) have taken this long either.

Even if its the businesses policy to not refund shipping (and/or charge restocking fee) this was THEIR MISTAKE. A reputable company, when questioned why shipping charges werent credited.....would have immediately corrected the issue.

Since they are trying to put the blame on me, and accusing me of all sorts of things like lying, changing my story, etc...and since in their twisted minds they still think this block is rebuildable without having to go to a machine shop....they are refusing to refund shipping. And thats in the hands of the CC company....and their policy is to give them 6 weeks, or two months or whatever it was for the merchant to respond to the dispute.

Not my time table. And as I said....maybe this IS already resolved. Maybe the merchant responded very promptly back to the CC company, with the same type of language and attitude they had towards me?? Maybe the CC company decided that less than $400 isnt worth perusing? Or maybe they will deduct that amount from the merchants next payment? Just dont know at this point. But at a later date, maybe after the Christmas holidays, I'll get back in touch with CC company and see what the status is, If I hear nothing by then

Reading back through when Kenmac found you this block after the same company told you they couldn't help you, it seems like they don't have a clue what they are doing. The good news is that you are up and running again, with the piece of mind of a new engine and warranty.

I doubt they would think $400.00 isn't worth it. I have disputed a whole lot less than that amount disputed and refunded .

They are most likely kicking and screaming like a baby.
