About 20 inches on the road. In 2WD, R4s, 400lbs in the ballast box, unloaded tires. Cable on the side of hood is chute angle adjustment (a good option).

I would hate to try and push that aside... unless it is real fluffy. Don't blow it too far... After lunch you may want to move the blown snow to a different location ( for safe keeping ) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Nice unit!

Brrrrrrrr /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Ya'll keep that white stuff up yonder!!!!!!

Pretty to look at and fun to play in but beyond that it's one of the reasons I moved south /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifand looking to move even farther south in a year or so...... I do have a little sense left in me because I draw the line at the mexican border /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I wouldn't mind it if I could have snow and play at 60-70 degrees ABOVE zero but I guess I can't have everthing. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

al3,

Looks GREAT. Please send some more of that our way. 20" looks like a lot more fun than the 12" we got. Like the chute angle control. I had to get off twice tonight to adjust the angle.

THe remote chute adjuster comes in handy---they should include it with the unit. Comes in handy around buildings & vehicles, also when the wind kicks up.
Going to use this shot on next years greetings card. Took it day after the first, cleaning up residuals.

Where did you get the chute control? That is exactly what I need!

al3,

I'd be interested too, as to where the chute angle control came from and how it works. I'd love to get a few less "face-full-of-snow" incidents when the wind is up.

BTW: I talked to the "Safety Police" /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif and they say you can roll a tractor, even when just clearing snow. Just yanking your chain about the folded ROPS....but wouldn't want to hear about you getting hurt.

That pic should make a great Christmas card /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif!

Deere nomenclature is "Remote Spout Control Kit- 2210, 4020, 4100, 4110, and 4115 CUTs". No numbers included on the product info users manual to pass along. You do have to orider unique mounts for each series of tractor however; one to position the handle correctly in the operator area and a cable "stand-off" to keep it clear of the muffler. Set up ran around $70 a few back. A good addition....

Here you go...For the 47" Snowblower (M047SBX) 2210, 4010, 4100, 4110, 4115, 2320, 2520 COMPACT UTILITY TRACTORS it is;

BM20960 - KIT - REMOTE SPOUT CONTROL (INCLUDES M84180 LOCKING RING) This is an obsolete part (as most of the BM kits are now) but because it still shows a price, it may still be available.

List price on the deere website is $95.00 and the dealer is usually about 5% higher. Shows the weight at 1.32 lbs so Deere freight should be about $2.00 to the dealer which of course gets passed on to you unless you want to wait a week to get it with the dealerships stock order.

If it is still available you better get one soon if you want it because like I said, it shows as being obsolete on the Deere website and when it's gone it's gone.

On a side note, I am not a dealer nor do I work for one but I am at the dealership and post office every day. If you don't have a dealer nearby or the time to get to one because of work or whatever, you can contact me and I'd put one in the mail for you just at my exact cost for the part, shipping, required $2.20 for insurance and paypal fees if you want to pay with credit card, bank transfer or eCheck. I would also list a private sale in my eBay Store for you to give you some protection from fraud if you like.

Boy I hope this doesn't get taken wrong as an advertisement /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Just trying to help because I have nothing much better to do on these cold, rainy winter days in SE North Carolina
