Bobcat B200 won't go

New to the forum so Hello I have inherited a Bobcat B200 tractor that stopped and sat for 8 yrs. The implements work so the gear pump is working. The research I have done shows that this was running problem with this tractor. Haven't been able to find parts and if I find a pump it will be over $3000. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of a third party pump or retrofitted another manufacturer's pump to this tractor. One dealer just said "good luck". Hate to by the original pump just for it to fail again. Thanks for reading

Bobcat B200 hydrostatic pump

I need a hydrostatic pump for my Bbcat B200. Does anyone know if you can put a replacement in by another MFG. Bobcat does not sell repair parts for their pumps so if I buy one from them and it goes out again I have to shell out another $6,000.00 where as if I get a pump made in U.S.A. hopefully...

Well, got a quote from a reputable hydro co. in New Hampshire. They found the parts in Europe with a 3 to 6 month lead time and $5000 for a rebuild and $7000 for new. The tractor is worth about 10,000 fixed and also needs new rubber. So now is it worth fixing or should I part it out. Everything else works and it is a nice hoe and bucket. Still hoping someone out there has a less costly answer even if I have to do some plumbing or any way to put a manual tranny in. Maybe by an old tractor and fit the hoe and bucket to that Any views on the idea? Thanks for listening.

Could you pull the pump and find out what broke? You may be able to fix it yourself.
