I have the Iseki 1300tx, which weighs about 1000 pounds and I want to get a small boom to use with my 3 point. How much weight can I pick up without any weight on the front? Thanks.
Tractor rear lift ratings are typically at 24" back behind the lift point. The lift point is usually considered straight down from the upper lift arms.It says I have 838 lbs. of lift at the ends. So does this mean I can lift an 838 pound object at the lift ends? Without any weights on the front. Or what? Then what does it mean with a boom? I could lift the same amount at the end of the boom? Kind of confusing to me to try to figure it out. I want to lift a 500 pound engine and put it on an engine stand. How do I figure this out?

Keep in mind the 3pt arms will often support more weight than they can lift.
so its possible to lift the empty boom pole to max height then attach a cable come-a-long to the end (or middle) to lift the engine.
All the other comments about needing additional weight at the front still stand.
