Bota floor mat

I just removed the snaps on my floor mat so I can just slip it off for cleaning, That spray job is nice as well.

How hard was the platform to remove? I was gonna do the same thing. Did the fenders have to come off? Can you give us a step by step?

That is a very neat looking job. I washed the foot platform of my BX22 backhoe today and it is so scratched from my shoes, that the Rhino liner seems like a good alternative to the orange paint that Kubota uses. In fact, my loader bucket is down to the primer on both sides of the bottom. I am tempted to just paint it again for the sake of the tractor looking like new. That is the problem with work vehicles, no matter how careful you are and precautions you take, it will always get scratched or the paint worn off.

Just for grins, I wonder how long the bed liner would last if sprayed on the loader bucket. Probably not long, huh? It might be fun to try but expensive. John

Man, that looks AWESOME!!! What was the charge for having it done?

Spray job was about $80. The removal was quite easy. Just a few bolts. The go pedal did have to be removed, but was only two bolts also.

The hardest part was reinstalling it eafter it was sprayed. I had the hole for the brake pedal sprayed over so that I could cut out only as much as needed. After fighting with the hole saw for a few minutes, I decided to just cut a long slit in the general area and slide the pedal thru. There is an open space between the brake and go pedal that has no metal.

Thanks for the pics and other thoughts. In the end I chose to go inexpensive. Roll of rubber mat traced out by the original mat and adapted to cover the unprotected areas. Then I put the original over the new cutout and secured with replacement clips. I think it turned out perfect for what I wanted. Seams like it will hold up too. For a couple bucks I purchased extra plastic clips so that the mats can be removed occasionally. Here is the pic

( I had the guys at Rhino Liner here in WNC to spry mine. I simply removed the platform, washed it off and delivered the platform and original mat to them. They masked off the area the mat covered and taped the holes on the bottom side with metal tape.

Looks great, is NOT slippery at all, and best of all (the reason I had it sprayed) dirt doesn't get UNDER it. I originally thought I would re-install the mat over the rhino to keep the original look, but I like the look of the Rhino.

I'll post pictures when I get home.)

What an awesome idea! I've got the Rhino in my pickup bed, and it's virtually indestructable! I may have to do that myself.
