Bought a new (used) truck

salt eats everything around here too, but 3K seems on high side for 145K on a 4x4 :

same around here would be in the 2k range now that gas is over 2.20/gallon I've seens LOTS of them in paper!@ lol:

I paid 1800 for my 91 ford 1/2ton with 73K on it. it is 2nd owner too and has the 300 with 5 spd. also has lots of doodads the previous owner installed. granted it is not 4x4 or hd but does what I want. there are also about 10 in the local paper for the 1~4K range all with various options... dang gas prices just keep going up & up so fuel MPG needs to get better now for me.

Looks like a real nice condition truck! I don't think there are any trucks from the 1980s in PA as they all dissolved from the salt. You patience was rewarded with a good deal in my opinion.
