I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words and encouragement. Your responses help squelch any feelings of "buyer's remorse". I'm excited to get some seat time.
I have a neighbor who works at a machine shop, and he has made a plate for the SSQA. I'm going to use the plate to mount a snowplow. He cut the plate on a computer burn table from a sheet of 3/8" steel. He then was able to bend the bottom edge for the pins and he also bent the sides. Since he cannot bend the top edge, he has a 2" strip of 3/8" flat steel he will weld in place. It's amazing the accuracy of the cuts, including the slots on the bottom for the pins, and the cleanliness of the cuts. No slag. The plow is an older one with with manual angle, but I'm okay with that. Now I'll have to buy some Kubota orange. If I remember, I'll post some photos when it's finished.
