Thanks Bob

For a couple of reasons I used stone to back fill around the house. I still have the piles of dirt that came form the hole for the basement that I have to spread around the perimeter of the house. I would like to slope this off so rain water drains away. I would also like to box blade about 2 acres for lawn as it is old farm field right now the 12 extra acres wwill remain horse pasture. Quite a few stones. Am I considering the correct implement here? Thanks.

Tom

Shane, is that at Sac's Western/Feed store? That looks like the Mr. Fixit's sign and the Leaders Fried Chicken in the background. Do you know how much those sell for?

Jarret- Yes, I took those pics at Sac's. The 5ft-$670 6ft-$770 7ft-$970. The friend who told me about them said he spent $1100 on his 8ft.

I'm thinking about getting one myself. I'm wondering if all "dura grader" type units have blades that protrude from the bottom of the skids by the same amount (1/4"-1/2"). I took some pics of some "Dura Grader" brand units down the road at another dealer's place and they seem to stick out as well. Maybe someone that has some experience with these can chime in here.

These look to be extremely heavy which I'm thinking is a good thing

That sounds like a good price. I've looked at the GradeMaster brand and it was around $750 for the 6' model. The blades on it stick out below the skids as well.
