BOX BLADE :: PHOTO comparision of brands

Aren't the blades short to allow material to "flow" over the tope of the blade?

On the GradeMaster units, the way I understand it, some of the dirt will flow over the top of the blade and some of it will flow to side. The dirt that flows over the top of the first blade may very well flow to the side of the second when it then may flow over the top. Like I said, I've actually never seen one work but I had heard about them. I would love for someone with actual experience to post some information about them and how well they work and why in some instances they may be better than a box blade and in other instances they may be inappropriate.

Thats the same box I have but mine also says lienbach on it. I dont know if united makes it for lienbach or visa versa. I will say that it is one solid box. We have a huge thriving rock garden in our back yard /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and on occasion i will catch a big one with no problems, just rips it up from the ground /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif but now with the bigger tractor I need a bigger box /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif One day.

Scarifiers attach similar to the howse. Simple and easy never lost one and I don't pin the wedge. I am very hard on implements and I have not had a single issue with this one. I inherited this from my father is why I don't know the company.
