Box Blade Question

I am a complete Novice to tractors and my M9000 will be delivered hopefully next week. My question is I will have a hydraulic top link on my BelTec that I hope to be able to use with all my 3pt attachments after reading the top and tilt threads I am wondering can I tilt the blade with the screw arm links to ditch along the roads and if so how great of an angle or do I have to have the hydraulic cylinders to tilt it.

You have the hydraulic top link, which is probably more important for the box blade than the Tilt function, which would require a second cylinder in place of your adjustable lift rod.

You should get enough tilts out of the mechanically adjustable lift rod to satisfy your needs I would expect. Having both hydraulic functions would be nicer, but if you only have one my bet is it is better to have the top link hydraulically adjustable.

You do not need to have hydraulics to tilt the implement on your 3PH.

I have done a fair amount of mechanical top and tilt with my box blade and with no hydraulic adjustment at all, I have had more than enough range to do what I need to.

My guess is that you will be fine with just the hydraulic top link...

I haven't been able to do any ditch work with my box scraper, a back blade works fine, as does a rear mount scoop. or if you have lots of time you can use the fel and do six feet at a time. My first choice is the scoop, followed by the back blade.
