Box blade shanks

Can anyone tell me if box blade shanks with rear slots will work on a box blade that came with shanks with front slots? Having trouble finding reasonable priced shanks.

$25/$35 per each seems to be the range.

That is part of the issue I have never had any shanks. I bought the BB used and it did not have any.

I will call the dealer I use for attachments and see how much they are there. They have been pretty good on some items.

The bar is a 4 in square tube with a 3/4 x 2 1/2 in holes

My used BB came without scarifiers so I called the mfgr to price them out,
My blade takes 7 of them at $57 ea. and 3 retainers at $15 ea. plus freight.

OP they should work. You my need to move the retaining pin to the front. I think the most common one's are center hole or front slot though.

Im not sure.

I went to a steel fab shop and they made me some and spot welded teeth on them for less than buying online or at a store.

I'm thinking they will work. Will probably end up trying them. The ones I was looking at are gone but am guessing they will have some more.
