Not to hijack your thread but I just did the rears on my 2010 Ranger with 80K (50KMiles) last weekend, used the semi metallic pads. Mines got the stupid rear disc, internal parking brake shoes, most crazy thing I've ever seen. Have to pull the axles to do the rear parking brake, cost me almost $300 for parts for the rear only....Mike

Yes, no reason to wait for parts, get them shipped to you. At the very least you should get the rotors turned. I've had mixed experience getting them turned. Sometimes the rotors are shot and can't be turned, other times they have a lot of metal left and can be turned. The kit I ordered for my sons 2004 GTO came with slotted and drilled rotors and high performance pads for about $350 for all 4 wheels.
Not being expert, I wonder if it is necessary to even turn the rotors on an OE F--250....that is if they are not scored? Just put some new pads on.
