brand new Kioti tractor with issues

I have only had this tractor for about 2 weeks. It is a Kioti RX 7320 with powershuttle and cab I noticed today that after running for about 1/2 hour the temperature gauge is still on cold although there was heat in the cab. I also notice that the hour gauge seems off. It is on 6 hours and I know i have not had it running for 6 hours. I bought this tractor for the construction trade so i am not running it for hours on end brush hogging or ....

I had read an article about someone who added a cab and had a similar issue. The tractor came with the cab already installed. I did contact the dealer but have not heard back yet.

Do you know what hours we're on it on delivery? It very well might have had a few hours from the dealer?

Does the temp gauge have actual degrees or just a cold-warm-hot gauge?

My NX will start to blow warm air in cab before the temp gauge moves. My little diesel takes some time for the gauge to reach operation temp. My tractor had 9 hours on delivery. Next time you take it out, compare hour meter to a watch.

My Rx7320 starts blowing warm air before gauge comes up. Depending on how cold it is outside,it takes a long time before it moves and gets up to normal range. Think it’s the nature of the beast.
Hour meter cant help you on. Mine seams to be fairly accurate

My 2009 Kubota M6040 has an analog temp gauge. I start it up - let it run at high idle for a few minuets - start on down my mile long driveway. By the time I get to my mailbox - the temp needle will be half way - on its journey to full operating temperature. A four cylinder diesel - a HD cooling system - it's the nature of the beast.

Have you done real work with it yet? In colder weather, it may take a load on it to get up to temp.

Look in the radiator after you first start it (cold) and see if the coolant is circulating. If it is, the thermostat may be missing or stuck open.

Warm air in the cab before the Temp Gauge comes up is normal in cold weather for the RX Cab Tractors. The cab heater removes heat from the cooling system, so it takes longer for the Temp Gauge to catch up. I will plow snow for 10 minutes in 20 degree F weather before the Gauge comes up, and be comfortable in the cab the after about 5 minutes. Nothing to worry about.

Install a winter thermostat….or block off the rad with a NARROW piece of cardboard in the middle of the rad Vertically. The latter is what I do
