Okay folks, took some pictures from the snow clean up today. Winds of 60+ so there was very little snow blowing going on, most pushing piles back and up. I was able to blow the entire last storm though, so I had some room. Not much left though!

I will say, I would never want a plow, I really think a push box on these tractors is the best front snow piece you can have. The ability to backdrag and hold a ton of snow on a long push is paramount for me. The only downside is curves, but it really isn't bad around curves, and if you go back over it after the initial clean up, it's easy to make that curve a straight line in places and get a nice clean up done.

Pictures are missing a big of what I do, but every storm is a few hours in the cab. Anything 4+ is about 4 hours of work, 8+ is 6-8 hours of work if its heavy. This little guy works hard for me, but it is constrained a little by it's lack of weight for big pushes of wet snow. I think some of you will be surprised on how much snow I move every storm with this 40hp beast though!

Also, replaced the wiper blades. The front was okay, but the rear was torn off in places and totally done. Not helpful on windy days snow blowing that's for sure.

I started a new thread asking about it, but they are a simple J hook, and the rear is 12 inches (I replaced with a 14) and the front I believe is 17 inches. Can get at any local auto part store, do not buy the OEM ones. 90 for the front, 80 for the rear from Bills, and that's on sale!

Glad you got your blades. I just came in from plowing about a foot. Been out since 8. I've been using the loader all winter but dug out my double auger blower and put it on to move some snow. Piles are 10-12' high. Last week we got 40" over a 2 day period. Another 40 expected today and overnight. I'm in the snow belt area 20 mi. SE of Lake Ontario. My tractor is only 36HP but its nice to be in a heated cab.

Dang, I thought we got some decent snow this year. I do not envy that! The heated cab is what makes me not mind being turned backwards most the day! Don't be scared to post some pics!
Thanks! The basement is a water storage tank for our sprinkler system, the ground floor is half pump room for the sprinkler system (john deere powered) and half commercial kitchen. Upstairs is a bedroom/bath.

Makes me wonder what the snow ratings are on some of the trailer roofs out there! Thanks for the photos.
The black enclosed trailer roof caved in 6 years ago. I rebuilt and braced the roof with stronger metal.
The camper had the roof removed by the camper dealer. I had them double up on all cross bracing.
The MH has stock roof.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed they hold up.

Another hitch! I've had an issue getting my hood opened up since this summer. It's always been tough, but it just wasn't happening anymore. Looked at youtube, did all the tricks etc... nothing. Bashed the hell out of it and that didn't help either!

Finally got fed up, and removed the front mesh below the latch, and then the two bolts attached to the latch. They are prob around a 10-9mm but I used an adjustable.

Anyway, still wouldn't budge with a screwdriver prying it and some PB blaster. I ended up cutting the latch off with a cutting tool, and ordering a new one from bills tractor.

I will have to keep up on the new one, keep it greased etc.... It had a small front end crash once, so that could have caused the problem, but it seems to be pretty common online looking.

Reason I am opening it in the first place, I got some new work lights! Picked up the new fancy ones from Harbor Frieght that compete with the Baja design lights. 100ish for each, vs 400 for the designer stuff. I have auxbeams on the back, and they work great, but I wanted to give these a shot. Blowing in the early mornings or overnight, I can't see a damn thing with the stock lights, so been wanting to do the front for a while. I replaced the rears a few years back and it was a huge upgrade.

I'll post some photos once it gets done.

Got the lights on! One is a spot/flood and one is just a spot. I thought I got two spot/floods, so that was a bit of a hiccup. I think it will be fine with how I will use this, and there is side lighting on both, so they basically are all floods at the speed I am going.

Will post up some photos showing the light tonight.
