Broken Crank

Yes, it is a 2 Cylinder YM2210. I mistyped on the original post.
I will see if I can get some clearer pictures tonight.

I knew there were a few problems with that crankshaft, but yours is the first one that I know of that broke after it got to the end user. I don't know of any of the one's I've sold that have had any problems.

Did it break at the rod or main journal?

Sure looks like a rod journal to me
