I have had that happen where the loaded woud not work. Just did what is already suggested and ran it through the full range of movement a couple of times. Worked fine after that.

It is possible, I agree. If there's air in the system it has to come out for everything to work properly. Cycle the loader to it's full height and hold it there for about 15 seconds with the joystick in the raise position and pressure going over the relief valve. Same with the bucket curl and dump (both directions). That SHOULD get the air out if there is any. It might take a few tries if there's a lot of it. Don't hold it there too long, the oil will heat fairly quickly going over the relief constantly.

You must remember the BX series only has a single hydraulic pump section with a priority valve that takes flow for the power steering circuit first and then any excess goes to the FEL and 3 point. Most larger tractors have a 2 section pump with one for the power steering and one for other functions while some TLBs have 3 or more.
